PVD is the technology used for the deposition of thin metal films on different materials (Physical Vapor Deposition), in this case surgical steel. The process takes place inside vacuum chambers. Metal ions, thanks to kinetic energy, are attracted to the surface of the jewelry, where they condense and form the desired coating. PVD coatings are suitable for all those products that require scratch and corrosion resistance. It can be sterilized in an autoclave.
